This conference includes 1 keynote address, 5 seminars, and 1 achievement exchange event.
(1) Plenary Address (September 19 - Morning)
The plenary address will involve famous Chinese and overseas scholars and experts invited to give keynote speeches on the topic ‘AI Empowerment in An Aging Society: Science, Technology, Strategy, and Innovation’. Eight international experts such as the academician Li Jianan have confirmed their attendance at the offline portion and will give presentations to their audience.
(2) Seminars (September 19 - Afternoon)
The conference focuses on specific groups by offering 5 simultaneous seminars:
1. Smart Rehabilitation and Accessibility Development for Disabled People
Research Focus: Emphasizes smart rehabilitation devices, accessible information and communication, technology for making retrofitted elderly housing, and ways to promote the creation of an inclusive aging society. This seminar will rely on the platform advantages of the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Smart Rehabilitation and Accessibility for Disabled People to illustrate its most recent research outcomes and transformational applications in a variety of fields.
2. Innovations in the Integration of the Digital and Silver Economies
Research Focus: Explores the industry ecosystem and innovative models of digital technology in elder care services, smart medicine, and elder care finance.
3. Integration of Art and Creativity: Contemporary Art and Cross-Media Innovation
Research Focus: Highlights the artistic creativity of cross-media methods, digital technology-empowered artistic expression, and the artistic participation of elderly people. Explores the creative methods and social value of contemporary art in the context of an aging society.
4. Collaborative Chinese and Western Medicine, the High-Quality Development of Elderly Rehabilitation Services
Research Focus: Explores the integration of rehabilitation services and Chinese medicine that forms new techniques and treatments while creating new modes and concepts related to elderly diseases and elder care.
5. Comprehensive Medical, Educational, Physical, Health, and Artistic Interventions for Autism
Research Focus: Explores medical, educational, physical, health, and artistic interventions for autism patients throughout their life. Examines new ways of creating multidimensional and integrated interventions for autism.
Note: These 5 seminars will all be held on the Changchun University campus, and the specific locations will be announced before the conference begins.
(3) Achievement Exchange Event (September 19 – All Day)
During this conference, Changchun University will also host an achievement exchange event on the topic of AI-Empowered Innovation and Development in an Aging Society. This project is supported by the Special Fund for High-Quality Talent Development of Jilin Province. The event will involve experts invited from high-achieving companies, universities, and scientific research institutions, who will use artifacts, images, and videos to showcase the newest technologies and solutions related to AI empowerment in an aging society. This will promote in-depth industry-university-research-application interactions and cooperation.
